Colors
It’s interesting to reflect on how my perception of colors has evolved over the years.
When I was a child, I remember focusing on the educational materials in the classroom. Above the blackboard, there was an alphabet with one color represented for each letter, such as A with blue (Azul in Spanish), R with red, V with green (verde), etc.
Later on, my color vision expanded. I like drawing, and I paid close attention to strokes and shadows in addition to colors.
My perspective has become more minuscious as my professional employment now revolves around designing user interfaces and creating software. In my workday, the usage of color combinations, tones, and shadows is essential.
However, this is not limited to software or work-related issues. This also happens in my immediate environment.
One frequent example is gardening; I can tell if a plant has disease or needs water by looking at the green color change in its leaves each day. As an additional example, my strawberry guava tree’s fruit is mature enough to be picked.
Though I don’t really have a favorite color, this topic has made me consider which colors I like best.
